One Week Workshop.


Open-ended Theme-based Projects — Grade 4 to 6


Inspired by the DARPA Grand Challenge, we bring that technical learning to the students in conceptual level with the main challenges encountered in unmanned vehicle technology. DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) Grand Challenge once was the pathbreaking effort with the goal of accelerating the development of autonomous vehicle technologies.

Storming Robots SumoBuild and program an unmanned vehicle that will race on a treacherous terrain, uphill, through speed bumps, dark tunnels, and more.  Students will build a robot from scratch and program it to make the vehicle come alive, offering truly rewarding fun. You will learn to handle some mechanics difficulties and computer programming issues that even advanced users with industrial-level machines and software encounter.

Learn how the formation of gears systems affect speed and torque of your robotics system by using the application of math concepts. This challenge provides plenty of creative time and opportunities to hone analysis skills  and critical thinking.
