Intro to Computer Programming (with C)
- 8TH TO 12TH GRADE
Start Dates: The First Thursday after Sept 2nd
Duration: Ten 2-hr Sessions
Time: 10am to 12pm
Cost/Student: $400 per student

Description: This course provides students with a general introduction to computer science and programming.
The course covers the basic concepts of computer science and programming, as well as introduction of
advanced concepts that enable writing more complex programs. Contact us to obtain detailed syllabus.

PreRequisite:
Highly proficient in pre-algebra and starts
to take high school Geometry.

Advanced Computer Programming With Tips & Algorithms (w/ C)

Description: This course introduces important and practical programming tools and techniques
that enable students to develop complex programs using C. Complexity includes linked list,

Robotics with Physics
- 9TH TO 12TH GRADE

Description:
This course engages students in focusing on Robotics projects with Physics
application and algorithmic reasoning. Workshops teach students physics concepts in exploratory and fun
challenging way. This workshop provides a framework not only
providing hands on robotics fun experiments to reinforce learning by
doing, but also stimulating creative thinking and problems analysis.
Curriculum was developed by scholars who were supported by various science organizations including
the Lemelson-MIT program. More robotic activities are also added in order to
add in a bit of competitive flavor.
PreRequisite:
Proficient in high school geometry, and algebra.
Proficient in grade 8+ reading and writing.
Successfully completed Intro to Computer Programming (with C)

costs approx. $30.)

Java I
- 9TH TO 12TH GRADE
Start Dates: The First Wednesday after January 2nd
Duration: Twenty 2-hr Sessions
Time: 1 to 3pm

These courses introduce students the concept of object-oriented programming.
Topics include basic and advanced features of Java as well as object-oriented design,
such as class and abstract class, interface, inheritance, encapsulation, overloading and
overriding, exception handling, etc. Contact us to obtain detailed syllabus.
This course heavily focuses on Computer Science aspect and application, not just the
semantics of Java Programming. Therefore, it is considered to be more advanced than most
regular “Learning Java Programming” course.
PreRequisite:
Proficient in Algebra and grade 8+ reading
and writing.
