Intro to Computer Programming (with C)

Description: This course provides students with a general
introduction to computer science and programming. The course covers the
basic concepts of computer science and programming, as well as
introduction of advanced concepts that enable writing more complex

PreRequisite:
Highly proficient in pre-algebra and starts
to take high school Geometry.

Advanced Computer Programming With Tips & Algorithms (w/ C)

Robotics with GPS data Streaming
- 9TH TO 12TH GRADE
Start Dates: January 17th, 2011
Duration: twenty-four 2-hr Sessions
Time: 2 to 4:00pm

Description: Have you ever wondered how the military spots a location via satellite communication?
As GPS technology has started to become more popular in the mainstream, won't it be cool to understand
how the technology works? As a final project challenge, you will program your robot to simulate a fun, but challenging
adventurous treasure hunting game or hunting down a person with a GPS locator secretly hidden in his pocket.
Classes will be instructed by technical professional with Master
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. This course has been
conducted at NJ Governor School.
At the end of the 12th weeks, there will be a conference style
presentation conducted by students as their final project.
PreRequisite:
Proficient in trigonometry, and algebra.
Proficient in grade 8+ reading and writing.
Successfully completed Intro to Computer Programming (with C)

costs approx. $80.)
